There I was walking down the isle at the Integrative Healthcare Symposium in New York this February and ran into the Annmarie booth that sells organic skincare products. I was already preparing myself to spend $185 big ones on a face oil by the name of Vintner’s Daughter as I’ve been watching the rave about it over the last few months. I’ve never spent this much money on a face product before but why not? The higher the quality the more expensive things become.

I was a bit skeptic about Annmarie’s products, simply because I’ve never heard of them before but I decided to give them a try anyways. I started off with the Wild Fruit Serum Brightening Facial Complex ($119), the Anti-Aging Facial Oil $105 and the Anti-Aging Eye Cream ($64.95). Day by day with each application I fell in love with these products.

When I ran out of my fruit serum, I felt like something was missing and had to order another bottle. On my second purchase I added the Neroli Toning Mist ($29.95), which smells so good but the mist is not the best so I pump two sprays on my hand and apply it that way. One of my favorite stores is up the street from us, Take Care, and I went there to find Vintner’s Daughter and tried it on. You know what’s funny? Annmarie’s facial oil smells so much better! When you put high quality ingredients on your face they speak to you, they are alive, they smell divine and your face glows. You won’t find any harsh preservatives, additives and fillers in these products. They are as pure as they get.

The Wild Fruit Serum is the ultimate skin elixir – this serum brightens, hydrates, and helps tone aging skin. It brightens the appearance of skin tone with a concentrated dose of fruit, herb and plant-cell extracts. A dynamic blend of Kakadu plum and apple helps revive dull skin. Resveratrol-rich knotweed, plant-cell extracts and copper combine to help keep skin moist, plump and supple for an overall even-toned, luminous glow.

The Anti-Aging Facial Oil is packed with antioxidant-rich seed oils—chia, goji berry, and broccoli that firm and tighten, while reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. While Jojoba oil resembles your skin’s natural oil, softening and conditioning mature skin.

The Anti-Aging Eye Cream has antioxidant-rich green tea and goji berries to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, while cucumber extract and the herb eyebright temporarily ease puffiness.

When it comes to your skin being the largest organ in your body, it’s important to ditch the nasty ingredients and use products that support the natural process of elimination. Don’t give your body more work to do. We’re not meant to add so much chemicals to our skin. Besides, with all the makeup we put on, we have to limit toxin exposure from other sources as much as possible.

Each product is made with intention, using their 3-step, Honest. Wild. Beautiful. proprietary process. All ingredients are hand-selected, then infused in base oils and aloe juice, and then crafted using additional plant extracts and ingredients to make them as effective as possible. The result is beautiful, glowing skin. The team at Annmarie researches industry practices and has uncovered hidden processes in ingredient production, chemical derivatives in so-called natural ingredients, and other shortcuts and oversights. These investigations have helped Annmarie Skin Care create processes to ensure high quality products that will deliver results customers can count on—now and into the future. With each pump of product you can smell it, your skin soaks it up and glows.

My next big transition has been eliminating and switching out my makeup. It’s important to know what your favorite makeup products are, which you aren’t willing to compromise and which you are and start there.
